ABOUT JOESIAH
“I am who I am today because of my Faith, community, and Mom. Growing up we were on public assistance and at times were homeless. Though she dropped out of school to take care of our family, my mom made sure all of her kids graduated. It’s because of her that I’ve dedicated my life to young people and families in poverty.”
“Today, I’m a Girl Dad, Minister, and member of the Springfield School Committee. I increased the budget by 146 million, built new schools like the DeBerry/Swan, and I’m leading on the plan for a new Gerena school. At New North Citizens Council, I was the driving force in dramatically expanding programs by $5 million dollars including summer camps, after school activities, G.E.D, and vocational education.”
“I don’t engage in division or backroom deals, I bring people together and get things done. I’ll be the City Councilor who is accountable to you and delivers results.”
